Design Process

01 | Secure your spot

Ready to work together? Reach out by submitting an inquiry form on our contact page and I’ll be in touch within 1-2 business days to set up a quick discovery call. During our chat, we can discuss your project, and business goals, and make sure we’d be a great fit. Please note that while we would love to work with every passionate business owner out there, we take on a limited number of projects a year to ensure we give each client the 1:1 time they need. That being said, we’d love to hear from you and can’t wait to chat!

02 | Discovery

The first phase of our time together is all about discovering your brand. We’ll have you complete a series of brand exploration assignments that will help us start thinking about your goals, audience, how you want to make them feel, and all the things that set your business apart from the competition.

03 | Design

Once we’ve established a visual direction for your brand, we’ll move into the design phase. This is where we’ll design your logo, website, and other brand elements. It is in this stage that strategy and design unite to illustrate your brand story.

04 | Launch

Time to celebrate! Your new brand & website are about to go live and we are so excited. Leading up to launch day we will hop on a video chat so that I can walk you through all the final files, show you the backend of your website, and answer any last-minute questions that may come up. I’ll be there every step of the way, making sure your launch day runs smoothly!

FAQ

  • Yes! We know this is a big investment so we’re open to creating a custom payment plan that fits your needs.

    Typically we like to break projects down into payment plans to (1) make the investment a little easier for you and (2) keep the project moving with regular payments. Your first payment is non-refundable and required to save your spot in my schedule. If you wait to pay this, you will risk losing your spot and being pushed to a later start date. Then, the rest of your payments will be spread out equally throughout the project. Please note that these payments are scheduled by date, NOT by milestones in the project. We do this to avoid delays + keep the project moving. All of your payments will be made online via Dubsado.

  • We strongly believe a business needs more than just a logo to tell your brand's story.

    For that reason, we do not offer logo-only projects. We specialize in holistically developing a full brand identity for your business that works as a cohesive system.

  • Great question! We generally recommend intensive projects for new business owners, businesses that have a tight timeline, or anyone with a lower budget.

    Custom projects are a better fit for established businesses with specific goals in mind who are ready to invest.

  • Unfortunately, it is not. Deposits are my way of securing your spot in our calendar.

    Many projects are booked months in advance which means we have to turn away clients for your booked spot. If you decide to back out of the project, it’s a spot that could have been given to someone else.

    Deposits ensure all our clients are committed to their projects.

  • We use Squarespace for service-based businesses and Shopify for e-commerce businesses.

    We will also use ShowIt on a case-by-case basis.

  • Website and branding take 1-2 months to complete from start to finish.

    Intensive projects take 3-5 days depending on deliverables.

    Studio days are 6-hour sprint.

  • Absolutely, yes! Our goal is to create websites that are easy to update & manage on your own, but we are always happy to help where we can!

    We offer Studio Days where we give you 6 hours of undivided attention so that we can update, edit, and work on anything you need!
